Collaboration with Government and Other NGOs

UNACOH was one of the Lead NGOs for the World Bank/ Government of Uganda Nutrition and Early Childhood Development Project (NECDP) in four districts namely Kabarole, Kamwenge, Masaka and Kyenjojo between 2000 and 2003.

From March 2004, UNACOH implemented a project on Advocay for Health as a Human Right. It was funded by SIDA through HURINET. The pilot project covered Kampala, Kabarole, Masaka, Mbale, Mukono and Pallisa Districts. UNACOH has carried out a baseline survey on Education, Health and Nutrition status in Luwero and Kiboga districts for the Poverty Eradication project on behalf of AMREF.

UNACOH implemented a project on IEC/BCC and OVC aspects of HIV/AIDS funded by Global Fund for 12 months in the 4 districts of Kampala, Mukono, Kayunga and Sembabule. (October 2004 – September 2005).
