Occupational Health and Safety
A number of UNACOH members were involved as facilitators in the Occupational Health and Safety Programme of Uganda National Association of Building and Civil Engineering Contractors (UNABCEC), whereby about 2000 workers and managers received OH&S messages which are in line with Safety Promotion Network Objectives.

The Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Desk of UNACOH made a survey of OH&S teaching in Kampala Schoolsof nursing and midwifery.

They also made visits to Lake Victoria Fisheries Organisation (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania) in Jinja, and District Fisheries offices in Mukono, with the view to initiate OHS activities in the Fishing sector.
